Ibadan Man Allegedly Kills Grandfather, Uncle

The Oyo State Police Command has confirmed that a middle-aged man, simply identified as Ahmed, allegedly killed his grandfather and uncle in Ibadan.

The incident occurred on Sunday in Apete, Ido local government area of the state, around 6 pm.

Policemen from Apete Divisional Police Headquarters were alerted shortly after the incident.

The suspect and the victims were side to be residing in the same place.

Public Relations Officer of the state Police Command, Adewale Osifeso confirmed the incident.

Osifeso said that investigation had commenced on the matter.

He said, “The command has indeed received the complaint of a male suspect who allegedly killed his grandfather and his uncle.

“Investigation has commenced to unravel the circumstances behind the incident. Updates concerning the case would be provided accordingly, please”.
