If Atiku Runs in 2027, I’ll Work Against Him – Fayose

Former Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose, has declared that he will work against former Vice President Atiku Abubakar if he contests the 2027 presidential election.

Speaking on Channels TV’s Politics Today, Fayose said he opposed Atiku in the 2023 election and would do so again, citing zoning issues and the need nike zoom vomero 5 for power rotation to the South.

According to him, the internal crisis within the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) began when power was zoned back to the North.

Fayose also called for fairness and accountability in political parties, stating that irresponsible leadership breeds rebellion and anger.

Looking ahead to 2027 and beyond, he said, “After Asiwaju’s (Bola Tinubu) tenure, if God gives him a second term, let a Southerner come out. We, as leaders at that time—I will be about 70—will come out straight that a Southerner cannot be denied the presidency.”
