The legislative arm of Ife North West Local Council Development (LCDA), Edunabon has declared emergency on some projects which need urgent attention.
The decision was taken at the parliaments sitting last week, a statement by the Information Officer of the LCDA, Adediji Kamorudeen said.
According to the statement, the sitting which was presided over by the leader of the house, Hon. Tosin Oke has in attendance, the council Chairman, Hon. Bangbe Ademola; the deputy chairman, Hon. Yinka Oyeniran; the deputy leader, Hon. Banke Akintayo and Supervisory Councillor, Hon. Kemi Okedairo.
While briefing the parliament on the efforts of his administration so far, the council Chairman mentioned that two event centres have been completed, two official cars purchased for the office of the council manager, rehabilitation of and grading of roads across the LCDA among others.
He also unveiled some of the projects that are in the offing immediately the allocation is received, which include construction of the bridge linking Rara-Moro road and Edunabon-Tonkere road and the electrification of Olubo area who has been in darkness for long.
While commending the chairman for representing the whole house impressively especially on Salu of Edunabon stools, Hon. Banke Akintayo remind the whole house on the need to appoint supervisory councillors and urged the executive arm of the LCDA to fast track action on it by completing the process and send the name to the house for deliberation and approval.
Also in attendance at the sitting were the Council Manager, Mrs. Elizabeth Olanrewaju, and the head of Admin, Com. Oyebanji among others.
