Ife North West LCDA Empowers Women, Youths

The management, Ife North West Local Council Development Area, Edunabon, led by  Hon. Bangbe Ademola Olabisi has demonstrated his commitment to the economic growth of his council through disbursement of soft loans to women and youths.

During the screening of the beneficiaries of the loan, the council boss urged the prospective beneficiaries to use the loan on businesses that would make them independent.

Noting that an idle hand is a devil’s workshop, he said that the effort of his administration was to ensure that the people are able to live independently through generation of income for themselves.

Speaking at the occasion, the Council Manager, Mrs Olanrewaju Elizabeth admonished the beneficiaries to have it at the back of their minds that the money is to be paid back at the intervals of four months, saying this would give other the opportunity to benefit.

She therefore advised those who have not benefitted to wait for their turns as the government will leave no stone unturned to ensure that others benefit.
