The administration of Hon. Bangbe Ademola Olabisi in Ife North West Local Council Development Area, has said that the foundation laying of a new event centre in Moro community will soon be performed.
He stated this at the palace of the Olumoro of Moro, Oba (Dr.) Ezekiel Abidoye Oyeniyi in the presence of all the chiefs and executive of Moro Progressive Union during his visit to inform the palace of the plan on the project.
This is just as he presented a cheque of the donation promised the community during this year Moro day celebration.
According to a statement by the council’s Information Officer, Adediji K.O, the council boss said the projects is in line with the promise made to the people, recalling that during the electioneering campaign, he had promised the people of Edunabon and Moro communities to be representing them equally .
According to the chairman, an ultra modern events centre had been built in front of the LCDA secretariat in Edun Abon, hence the need to carry out a similar project in Moro, saying, his visit was aimed to taking royal blessings in order to achieve this aim.
Presenting the cheque to the President of Moro Progressive Union, Elder Femi Ojedele at the palace, the monarch offered royal blessing and promised the support of all residents to the administration of All Progressives Congress under Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola and Hon. Bangbe’s government at the grass root level, as he called on all chiefs in the palace to pray for the administration’s successful tenure of office.
Also, the President of the union commended the chairman for fulfilling his promise and recommended him for better post in the future.
