In preparation for the September 22 gubernatorial election in the state of Osun, people of Ifon Oroluland have drummed support for the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola.
They also described the governor, Ogbeni Aregbesola as an epitome of democracy and good governance judging from the unprecedented developmental projects which the state has recorded since he came to power in 2010.
Also, it was a carnival-like event on Saturday when a sea of heads, broom wielding members and supporters of the APC trooped out en masse, singing and dancing to sensitize supporters, sympatizers and electorate to embrace continuity and cast their votes for the APC candidate, for the unprecedented developmental projects to continue.
The party members and supporters marched through all the major roads in Ifon, Orolu local government council and all political office holders from the area both at the state and local government levels participated in the sensitisation rally which lasted for hours.
While speaking, the executive chairman of Orolu local government, Hon Adekunle Benson emphasized that the APC will win the election convincingly as Orolu will be thoroughly delivered to the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the next gubernatorial election, adding that all the activities of the opposition parties in Osun is like rubbing insult upon injuries.
