Iggy Azalea Sued By American Express, But You Wouldn’t Believe Why

Celebrities can’t be perfect but there are just some things they shouldn’t be tied to, like debts. Iggy really?? Iggy Azalea is being sued for nearly $300,000 credit card bill she failed to pay.

A lawsuit filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court on Monday by American Express, a multinational financial services corporation alleged that Azalea (real name Amethyst Kelly) owes them $299,147.81 for goods and services that she has purchased over the last two years.

According to court documents obtained by PEOPLE, the Australian recording artist’s delinquent balance is $250,000 more than her credit card limit.

The lawsuit is seeking the full amount owed, plus legal fees from the rapper. Iggy who’s often seen showing off her wealth on social media including her clothing and jewelry collection is yet to react to the lawsuit.
