The newly installed Soun of Ogbomosoland, Oba Afolabi Ghandi Laoye Orumogege 111, will tomorrow (Thursday), make his first official outing.
Soun will officially resume as King, hold prayer session, address the people and be accessible to the public after seven days in seclusion (Ikije).
OSUN DEFENDER reports that Oba Afolabi was installed last week Friday and in seclusion since.
During the Ikije ceremony, traditional drummers and hunters will dance round the town and later entertain people at the palace.
Indigenes and residents of Ogbomoso are expected to join the monarch’s convoy from a designated location and move round the town after which they would return to the palace for other programmes and entertainment.
