Ikirun town in the State of Osun will soon become the host a School of Medicine as the All Saints University School of Medicine, Dominica, has concluded plans to establish a School of Medicine in the town.
The plan was made known by the the Univeristy’s Vice Chancellor, Dr Joshua Yussuf while receiving Prince Segun Gboleru in his office in Toronto, Canada, headquarters of the institution.
Prince Segun Gboleru is a nominee for the vacant Akirun stool; the Akirun stool became vacant after Oba Abdul-Rauf Adewale Adedeji II joined his ancestors.
The Vice Chancellor also noted that the institution had given scholarship worth millions of dollars at various times to indigent students across the world, as well as Nigerians. Saying thed the university management is ready to take Ikirun land to enviable heights by establishing a medical school in the town.
