Ilorin Market Fire: Governor Ahmed Sympathizes With Victims

The Kwara State Governor, Dr Abdulfatah Ahmed has sympathised with the victims of fire disaster at the popular Baboko market in Ilorin West Local Government area of the state.
The Governor in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Alhaji Abdulwahab Oba expressed concern over the recurring fire incidents in the market.
According to him, the incessant fire outbreak in the market has become worrisome and promised that government will dialogue with stakeholders in the market towards finding a lasting solution.
Governor Ahmed called on market men and women to be extraordinarily careful in handling fire-prone materials to forestall future re-occurrence. He also assured victims of government’s commitment to ameliorating their sufferings.
