Immigration Hands Over Notorious Native Doctor To Lagos Police
The Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), Lagos Command, has handed over Obi Levi Obieze, a notorious suspect wanted for serious crimes, to the Lagos State Police Command for further investigation.
The transfer was confirmed on Friday in a statement posted on the X handle of Lagos Police spokesperson, Benjamin Hundeyin.
The post read, “#nigimmigration, Lagos State Command hands over suspect wanted in Enugu State, Obi Levi Obieze, to #LagosPoliceNG at the Police Command Headquarters, Ikeja. The suspect was arrested at the Seme Border.”
Obieze, also known as Levi Obu Onyeka, is wanted by the Enugu State Police Command for his alleged involvement in abduction, kidnapping, and ritual killing.
The Comptroller General of Immigration, Kemi Nanna Nandap, confirmed his arrest, noting that Obieze is a native of Umuojor village in Isiagu Community, Enugu State.
He was declared wanted in connection with the abduction of a 13-year-old girl on May 27, 2025.
