Independence Day: Customers Stranded As Zenith Bank Server Down

Thousands of Zenith Bank customers found themselves stranded on October 1st, Nigeria’s 64th Independence Day, as the bank’s services, including its Mobile Banking App, USSD, Internet Banking, and Corporate Internet Banking platforms, went offline due to a scheduled IT maintenance.

Many Nigerians, who had planned to make purchases, pay bills, and send funds during the public holiday, took to their Twitter (X) handles to express their grievances.
