He said that God blessed Nigeria’s with mineral resources needed to survive as a Nation but some leaders are using their selfishness to disrupt the nation’s progress.

He also acknowledged the labour of the nation’s past heroes and prayed that their efforts should not be in vain at any time.

He said, “our blessed country is a nation of God with milk and honey flowing around it but our attitude towards all these are bad indeed “.

The clergyman advised Nigeria leaders to move closer to God in all their deeds in order to avoid wrath of God while urging them to neglect evil and his work.

He called on leaders to have spirit of God in their mind to serve the people diligently in their services to humanity.

He also advised leaders to distribute the common wealth of the nation accordingly so that the common man on the street would benefits from the nation’s wealth.

The occasion was used to pray specially for the leaders, Nigeria and its entire people to be guided right in all their endeavour.

He urged stakeholders to resist the temptation of viewing the conflict across the country as either religious or ethnic based.
