Officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) did not attend the congress of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ife Central Local Government of the State of Osun.
But officers of the Nigeria Police Force, Department of State Services and Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) witnessed the congress which was held at Oduduwa College Ile-Ife, today.
OSUN DEFENDER noted that members of the APC in Ile-Ife trooped out to participate in the congress in their large number.
The APC members, majority of whom are members of The Osun Progressives (TOP) arrived the venue of the congress as early as 7:30am
They all conducted themselves in a peaceful manner as they queued on the line to elect their new party executives for the local government.
