President Muhammadu Buhari has sent the names of 28 nominees to the senate for confirmation as Resident Electoral Commissions (REC) for the Independent Electorial Comission (INEC).
The President made this known in the letter sent to the senate and read by its president, Bukola Saraki, in Abuja today.
The nominations followed the recent expiration of the tenures of RECs in 28 states.
