INEC To Implement Recommendations Of EU Election Observer Group
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), has promised to ensure the implementation recommendations by the European Union Election Observation Mission on the 2019 general elections.
Chairman of the Commission, Professor Mahmood Yakubu gave this assurance after a meeting with the EU officials in Abuja.
He thanked them for their support, noting that the EU has been part of Nigerias progress towards democratic consolidation since 1999.
Meanwhile, the group says it has compiled its report and findings on the general election and will present it to the commission later today.
