Iragbiji Prince Apologises To Monarch Over Comment On Palace Renovation

A prince from one of the ruling houses in Iragbiji, Boripe Local Government, Prince Tunde Dansaki has apologised to the Aragbaji of Iragbiji, Oba Abdul-Rasheed Ayotunde Olabomi over his comment in the media.

Dansaki in a statement regretted any form of injury his comment over the demolition of the old palace and citing of Mosque inside the palace might have caused the monarch and the Aragbiji in Council.

Dansaki at a press conference on October 2, 2018, has raised alarm over likely breach of peace on the town over palace demolition.

Also in the statement, Dansaki apologised to Ajibode ruling house and Moya-in-Council for any embarrassment the comment might have caused them.

He explained that he did not mean to discredit the Aragbiji or any other personality and appealed that anyone holding grouse over the matter should allow it to rest in the general interest of the town.

He appreciated the mediators who intervened in the matter including the State Governor, Mr Gboyega Oyetola, Aragbiji-in-Council, Ileri Oluwa Unity forum, Dansaki Movement and other traditional rulers.
