Israel Adesanya defeated longtime adversary Alex Pereira by knockout to reclaim the UFC middleweight title, on Sunday morning in Miami.
In order to exact revenge on Pereira, who had stripped him of his middleweight title with a TKO in the final round last November, Adesanya entered the fight.
However, Adesanya overcame his most recent loss to reclaim the UFC middleweight championship by ruthlessly dispatching Pereira in the second round.
