Joshua, Povetkin Clash In Wembley Sept 22
Anthony Joshua will take on Alexander Povetkin at Wembley on September 22nd in a bid to fulfill his WBA mandatory defence.
Joshua, the current International Boxing Federation (IBF), World Boxing Association (WBA) and International Boxing Organisation (IBO) World heavyweight title holder, will be fighting for the fourth time in succession at the stadium bringing his total live audience for those spectaculars close to 350,000.
“The plan is Povetkin on the 22nd and then Wilder on the 13th (April) if he gets around to signing the contract,” Hearn told Daily Mail.
Joshua’s promoter Eddie Hearn insists that his $15m (£11.3m) offer to Wilder remains on the table for another Wembley showdown.
