Just In: 15 APC Senators Defect To PDP As Saraki Presides Over Plenary
17 Senators from the Ruling All Progressives Congress APC have officially left the All Progressives Congress for the Peoples Democratic Party PDP.
Key among them are Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso representing Kano Central and Dino Melaye, representing Kogi West.
The announcement of their defection was made at Tuesday plenary after the Senate President, Bukola Saraki received and read a letter from the defected senators.
With this defection, the PDP is now the majority in the Senate.
