The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) has elected new President to pilot the affairs of the organization for the next academic session.
The newly elected President, Comr. Usman Umar Barambo from the department of Economics and Development Studies, Federal University Dutse, Jigawa State defeated his closest rival, Comr. Umar Faruk Fakky from Bayero University Kano to clinch the number one student seat.
The leadership of NANS and students across tertiary institutions in Nigeria have arrived Abuja since over a week for the annual convention of the organization earlier scheduled to hold between August 25 to 28.
