Just In: Nigerian Army Confirm Borno Attack, Identify Killed General
The Nigerian Army have confirmed that their troops came under attack in Borno State earlier in the day.
It was gathered that Brigadier-General and some soldiers were killed in an ambush.
Brigadier-General Onyema Nwachukwu, Army Spokesman who confirmed the incident.
He said the Chief of Army Staff, Lt Gen Faruk Yahaya, has commiserated with the families of the deceased officers.
He described the incident as tragic.
