Just In: Osun College of Education Gets New Provost

Following the expiration of the tenure of the Provost of the Osun State College of Education Ila-Orangun, Prof. Isaac Olayinka Oyewole, the Governor of the State, Mr Adegboyega Oyetola, has approved the appointment of Professor Jimoh Atanda Afolabi as the Acting Provost of the College.

Professor Jimoh Atanda Afolabi obtained his First and Second Degrees from the University of Ibadan and his PhD from the Federal University of Technology, Akure in Ondo State.

He served as a Professor of Agricultural and Resource Economics in the Federal University of Technology, Akure from 2013 till his new appointment.

He is widely travelled, locally and internationally. He is married with children.
