Kaduna: My Godson, Gov Uba Sani Sponsoring Terrorism – El-Rufai
Former Kaduna State governor, Nasir El-Rufai, has accused Governor Uba Sani of sponsoring mayhem in the state.
El-Rufai, spoke after yesterday’s violence at a meeting of opposition politicians in Kaduna State.
There was pandemonium on Saturday during the inauguration of a transition committee formed by opposition parties in Kaduna State.
Thugs had disrupted the inauguration while attacking participants and damaging property.
The thugs, armed with cutlasses, clubs, and stones, were said to have attacked, leaving several people injured and vehicles destroyed.
The former governor spoke in a video while condemning the attack, said, “We don’t stop people from enjoying their freedom, but unfortunately, my godson, Governor Uba Sani, whom I thought had been following my principles of peace, is the one sponsoring this kind of terrorism.”
