Karma As Phone ‘Snatcher’ Knocked Down While Crossing Road In Kano

A man who reportedly a snatch a phone belonging to a woman was knocked down by a car while crossing the Zoo Road in Kano State.

The suspect according to the police was taken to the hospital after he was knocked down.

His spine was broken and his head was cracked according to the police.

The Kano State Police Command spokesman, Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa, confirmed the incident on his social media handles on Sunday evening.

“Now I received a report from Zoo Road that someone took a woman’s phone. He was crossing the road when a car hit him. We need to take him to the hospital,” said Kiyawa.

Kiyawa while giving an update on the incident, said the suspect was receiving medical attention following injuries he sustained.

He said, “After we took (the man who stole the phone) to the hospital, he was moving a bit, his spine was broken and his head was cracked”, adding that the hospital was thinking of taking him to the emergency department.
