Kewalram Chanrai Group Showcases New Jeep Wrangler

Kewalram Chanrai is proud of Jeep, one of the FCA auto brands it recently became its distributor in Nigeria. And to demonstrate this, it has taken the new Jeep Wrangler to the Murtala Muhammed Airport 2 Lagos to showcase the beauty, strength and comfort of the two-door sport utility vehicle.

The Wrangler is a compact and mid-size four-wheel drive off-road SUV, manufactured by Jeep, currently in its fourth generation.

Once built only for off-the-road terrain, the Wrangler has metamorphosed into an urban vehicle that can adapt to all kinds of terrain and the SUV is still known for its toughness and rigidity.

Apart from Jeep, other FCA brands recently taken over by Kewalram for both distribution and after-sale service are Fiat, Dodge, Chrysler, Ram, Fiat, Alfa Romeo and Maserati.

According to Kewalram, the Jeep Wrangler comes with heavy duty suspension and shock absorbers to ensure maximum comfort for all occupants, irrespective of the terrain.

The display at the MMA2, it says in a statement, “is part of the efforts being put in place by the company to let members of the public know more about the attributes of the FCA brands in the country.”

The Group Deputy Managing Director, Kewalram Chanrai, Mr Victor Eburajolo, said, “Nigerians are very familiar with the Jeep brand known across the world for its luxury, toughness and remarkable off-road capability. The Wrangler, for instance, has an enviable reputation of being a go-anywhere do-anything vehicle that can conquer any terrain.”

The Wrangler comes with a full-time four-wheel drive system, with a 7-inch touch screen display that enhances its aesthetics and promotes safety.

Its other unique features include a park view/rear back-up camera, even as there are also air bags fitted round the vehicle.

Different occupants of the vehicle do not only enjoy the powerful air conditioning system the vehicle offers while they are also entitled to automatic temperature controls.

Some other specs in this vehicle are traction control that keeps the driver focused and in lane, deep tint sun screen glass and premium lighting.

Kewalram said, “The Jeep Wrangler is not only making waves in Nigeria, as only recently, readers of one of the most famous Russian motoring magazines, Za Rulyom (Behind the Wheel), named the Jeep Wrangler as winner in the Premium Crossovers and SUV category of its Grand Prix awards, which crowned the best new cars of 2018.”

The statement reports that over 25,000 readers of the magazine that took part in the voting as saying the best newcomer in the premium crossovers and SUVs category was the Jeep Wrangler. “The vehicle was appraised through online voting across three criteria: Equipment, Design and Practicality,” said the statement.

It also noted that the Jeep had consistently been associated with laurels, with Juventus, the soccer team with the Jeep brand on its jerseys, winning the Italian championship for the eighth time in a row.
