Kim Kardashian has gone weird this time by making up for the dead in a mortuary.
The mother of three insisted that she was “obsessed” with death in the latest episode of her family’s reality show, Keeping Up With The Kardashians, and expressed her interest in becoming a mortuary makeup artist. Her obsession landed her in a morgue where she got a lesson from a professional on how to do makeup for the dead.
Kim looked slightly pale as mortician Amber Carvaly taught her how they embalm people.
Kim said: “My stomach is turning. I thought I was totally fine and now all of a sudden I’m like, ‘Oh my God, I might throw up.’ “
“We definitely asked for the authentic experience, but I’m starting to rethink this.”
She attended the session with her makeup artist friend Mario Dedivanovic. They were led into a room with a body on the table. Kim later discovered, to her utmost relief, that the lady was actually alive.
Looking slightly more relieved, Kim said: “She’s breathing so she’s not dead”.
Later, in the same episode, Kim was seen practising her new skill on her mum as the Kardashian matriarch lay still on the table pretending to be dead, while Kim worked her magic. Taking to the camera, Kim said: “I know death is a really morbid topic, but I’m, like, obsessed. I just want to prepare myself for when that time comes and also try to not make it such a morbid, scary thing. Death is a natural part of life — like, I’m totally at peace with my father’s passing. And I just want the same thing for other people.”
