Krispy Kreme Doughnuts Shuts Down For Using Expired Doughnut Mix & Fillings

NAFDAC together with The Consumers Protection Council Nigeria has shut down Krispy Kreme Doughnuts VI store following regulatory issues with shelf life of their raw materials.

According to the Director General of CPC, Babatunde Irukera, the sealing of Krispy Kreme was because of serious regulatory violations – such as using of expired doughnut mix and fillings. Further enforcement activities is to follow.
