Kwankwaso Criticises Kano Police Over ‘False’ Terror Alert

Former Kano State Governor, Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, has urged the Nigeria Police Force to maintain professionalism nike air force 1 07 black cool grey racer blue white and avoid partisanship, particularly in Kano State.
Kwankwaso’s comments followed concerns over a ‘terror alert’ issued by the Kano State Police Command ahead of the Tijjaniyya Sufi Order’s annual Maulud celebration at the Sani Abacha Stadium, Kano.

However, he expressed disappointment over the police alert, stating it unnecessarily created fear among residents and visitors, potentially undermining the event’s success.
“This conduct by the police, which is increasingly seen as a willing partner of the Federal Government in its habitual interference in Kano’s affairs, further erodes its credibility,” Kwankwaso said.

He warned that issuing false terror alerts could set a dangerous precedent, leading to public complacency during real threats.
