Management of the Kwara State Polytechnic, Ilorin has directed students of the institution to resume to school on October 15, for Academic activities.
OSUN DEFENDER Campus review reports that the registration of students for the session would commence immediately afterwards.
Regardless of the resumption date, it was gathered that the students of the institution who are currently on Student Industrial Work Experience Scheme (SIWES) have been given the opportunity to resume on December 3 for the commencement of their academic activities.
A visit to the polytechnic campus showed that some students are still within the campus inspite of the break.
Some of the students who spoke with this medium said that they decided to be coming around on campus to ensure that no information elude them with regards to the resumption.
A student of Mass Communication, Ibrahim Adebayo said, “When we are approaching resumption date like this, it is important to be on ground once in a while, so that you will have every information about activities on campus”.
According to him, there is information that by the middle of the month, the list of newly admitted students would be published and registration of the new students would begin immediately afterward, saying, if he was not on campus, he might not have such information.
He also hinted that the Screening Test form is already on sale.
