Lagos Confirms Receipt Of Mohbad’s Toxicology Report
Lagos State Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Lawal Pedro, announced on Monday that the toxicology report and forensic analysis for late singer Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, known as Mohbad, have been received from the United States.
During a press conference at the Ministry of Justice Conference Room in Alausa, Ikeja, Pedro confirmed the autopsy report’s receipt by the Lagos State pathologist and coroner magistrate.
He acknowledged investigation delays, attributing them to thorough forensic processes.

“On Mohbad’s case, yes, I agree there has been a delay, and the delay is caused by the time taken for investigation,” Pedro stated.
He emphasized the importance of comprehensive investigative procedures. “Forensic analysis, toxicology, all these are part of the investigation. A full-proof investigation is essential for leading to a conviction in any case presented before the courts.”
Pedro clarified the toxicology examination’s location: “It had to be conducted in the US due to the destruction of the Lagos DNA and Forensic Centre during the #EndSARS protests of October 2020.”
