Lagos Govt Debunks MC Oluomo’s Appointment

Lagos State Government has debunked rumour making the rounds on appointment of Musiliu Akinsanya, known as MC Oluomo.

Speaking for Lagos State Government, the Chief Press Secretary to Lagos State Governor, Mr Gboyega Akosile debunked media report suggesting that the Governor has appointed MC Oluomo as the General Manager of the Lagos State Parks and Garages Committee.

Akosile, in clarifying the report, said the position of the government has not changed from details of a statement issued yesterday by the Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Mr Gbenga Omotoso, announcing the suspension of activities of NURTW in all parks and garages in the State.

He said, “Please disregard post(s) claiming that Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has appointed suspended Chairman of NURTW, MC Oluomo as GM, Lagos Transport Parks and garages committee. There’s no such appointment.

“The statement issued yesterday by Mr Gbenga Omotoso, Hon. Commissioner for Information and Strategy, remains the position of government.“
