The Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on Sunday received 62 brand new fire apparatus, consisting of fire trucks and support vehicles.
In an Instagram post, the governor showed a video of the trucks and support vehicles lined up on the streets of Lagos.
He said the purchase was made to empower the Lagos State Fire Department.
The governor wrote, “In order to empower the Lagos State fire department, we took delivery of 62 brand new fire apparatuses, consisting of fire trucks and support vehicles.”
Our correspondent noticed that all the fire trucks and Hilux vehicles were already numbered and had the inscription ‘Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service’ on them.
