Lasun Yussuff Celebrates Aregbesola At 61

The Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon Lasun Yussuff has felicitated with Governor Rauf Aregbesola on the occasion of his 61st Birthday.

 

In a statement on Thursday in Osogbo, the Deputy Speaker eulogised Aregbesola for his perseverance and commitment to the ideals of true democracy as espoused by the late Sage, Chief Obafemi Awolowo.

 

Hon Yussuff maintained that the Governor has also in the last 6 decades dedicated himself to humanity and the development of the society.

 

The APC Governorship Aspirant in the September 22 Governorship Election in Osun State described the sexagenarian as a visionary and pragmatic leader who has in the last seven and half years transformed the State.

 

“I must say that for the years that I’ve known you, you have been a pragmatic, selfless and exemplary leader who has impacted in many ramifications.”

 

“Before and after you became Governor, your humility never ceased as you remain an embodiment of virtues that makes you a role model for many across party lines.”

 

The Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives said “Your achievements also as the Chief Executive Officer of our state is a pointer to the fact that that you are a true progressive, one with a burning desire for all round development.”

 

Hon Lasun Yussuff however prayed the Almighty Allah to Grant Governor Aregbesola many more years in good health and give him the wisdom to bequeath to the State of Osun a worthy successor.
