Libya Deports 48 Nigerian Women, 2 Children
Libya’s Department for Combating Illegal Migration has deported 48 Nigerian women and two children with the support of Nigeria’s consular services and the International Organization for Migration (IOM).

The repatriation was conducted through Mitiga International Airport, ensuring their safe return to Nigeria.
The initiative is part of ongoing efforts to assist Nigerians facing hardship abroad, especially in conflict-prone areas like Libya.

Migrant Rescue Watch disclosed this in a statement on X (formerly Twitter) on Wednesday, saying, “DCIM repatriated from Tripoli with 🇳🇬 consular and 🇺🇳 IOM support 48 #migrant females with 2 children of Nigerian nationality via Mitiga Int. Airport”
