A 32 years-old man, Peter Friday has been arraigned before an Osogbo Magistrate Court for stealing.
The prosecutor, Inspector Oladoye Joshua told the court that the accused person committed the offence on 12th of July 2017.
According to the charge sheet, Friday and others, now at large, on the 12th of July, 2017 at Igbona area, Osogbo, conspired and entered the shop of one Maji and committed an offence contrary to and punishable under section 412 of Criminal Code CAP 34 Vol.II Laws of Osun State of Nigeria 2003.
It also alleged that the suspect and others now at large on the same day, place and time stole one Tecno W4 value N35,000, property of one Ayobami Titoboluwa, a student of Forward Match Tutorial College, Sabo Osogbo and thereby committed an offence contrary to and punishable under section 390 (90 of Criminal Code CAP 34 vol. II laws of Osun State of Nigeria 2003.
When the charges were read to him, he pleaded not guilty to the allegations.
The defence counsel, R.A. Ngwu applied for the bail of the accused person.
The Presiding Magistrate, Ayo Ayeni granted the accused bail in the sum of N50,000 with two sureties in like sum.
He then adjourned the case till 19th of September, 2017 for hearing.
