An Osun State Police Command in Osogbo has arraigned a 35-year-old man, Adedeji Lukman before an Osogbo Magistrate Court over an alleged house breaking and stealing.
Lukman who is having no legal representation pleaded not guilty to the two count charges preferred against him.
The prosecutor, Supol Fagboyinbo Abiodun informed the court that the defendant committed the offence on August 3, 2018 at about 03:30pm at Aduramigba Area, besides Canaan land church Osogbo.
The defendant allegedly broke into the house and premises of one Mr Afolabi Mufutau.
Fagboyinbo said the accused person stole some copper wire rolls, valued at N400,000 property of Afolabi Musibau.
The prosecutor stated that the offence contravenes Section 390 of the Criminal Code 34, Vol.ll laws of Osun State of Nigeria 2013.
The Magistrate, Mrs Awodele Modupe granted the bail to the accused person in the sum of N200,000 with two sureties in like sum.
The sureties must reside within the court jurisdiction and provide three passport photographs each, swear to an affidavit of means and the address must be verified by the prosecutor and also produce valid means of identification.
The case was adjourned to August 20 for hearing.
