A woman, Temitope Victoria has been arraigned before an Osogbo magistrate court presided over by Magistrate O.A. Oloyade for fraud and stealing.
The prosecutor, Ajayi Sunday told the court that the accused person committed the offence in May, 2016.
According to the charge sheet, the accused person Temitope Victoria in May, 2016 at Alekuwodo area, Osogbo stole N50,000, belonging to one Olaniyan Shakirat and thereby committed an offence contrary to and punishable under section 390 (9) of Criminal Code Cap 34 Vol.II Laws of Osun State of Nigeria 2003.
It was said that the accused also fraudulently obtained a sum of N50,000 from Shakirat and thereby committed an offence contrary and punishable under section 421 of Criminal Code Cap 34 vol.II laws of Osun State of Nigeria 2003.
The suspect who was arraigned on a two-count charge, pleaded not guilty to the allegations against her.
The defense counsel, Sulaiman Akano applied for the bail of the accused person and the presiding magistrate, O.A. Olayode, granted the accused bail in the sum of N100,000 with two sureties in like sum.
He then adjourned the case till 3rd of August, 2017 for hearing.
