A 44-year-old Indian man, Vinod Kumar Chaudhary, has broken the Guinness World Records and won the title of the ‘fastest time to type the alphabet with the nose’ for the third time.

Osun Defender reports that he first claimed the title in 2023 with a time of 27.80 sec, getting his time down to 26.73 sec later that year.

Sharing the video of Choudhary’s winning moment on X, formerly known as Twitter, Guinness World Record said, “How quickly could you type the alphabet with your nose (with spaces)? India’s Vinod Kumar Chaudhary did it in 26.73 seconds.”

“Vinod practised for hours to earn his world record and said typing with his nose would sometimes make him so dizzy he’d see stars,” he said in a series of posts.

To successfully complete the record attempt, Vinod had to type out the Roman alphabet on a standard QWERTY keyboard, and had to type a space between each letter.

Vinod, who works in the computer industry, says he’s become known as the “Typing Man of India” thanks to his record-breaking escapades, reported Guinness World Records.

Currently, Choudhary is holding the records for the fastest time to type the alphabet backwards (single hand), fastest time to type the alphabet with hands behind the back and now fastest time to type the alphabet using nose.

Choudhary said, “My profession has been typing, that is why I thought of making a record in it, in which both my passion and my livelihood remain.” He further stated that he believed that one have to keep following the passion despite many hurdles.

He practised for hours to earn his world record and said typing with his nose would sometimes make him so dizzy he’d see stars.

According to the Guiness World Record, Choudhary’s secret to success is meditating daily and always thinking positively.

He said that he’s always on the lookout for records he can break.

His dream is to break as many records as former international cricketer Sachin Tendulkar, who has a long list of titles to his name, including most player-of-the-match awards won (international career) with 62 and most centuries scored in international cricket with 100.
