Man City Sign Russia 2018 Youngest Player Arzani From Melbourne City

Manchester City have signed Australia winger Daniel Arzani from Melbourne City.

The details of the deal was however not revealed by the club.

He becomes City’s second signing after Riyad Mahrez was signed for £60m from Leicester City.

Arzani was part of Australia’s World Cup squad and was also the youngest player in the tournament, coming on as a substitute in the latter stages of the Socceroos’ group stage game against France.

The 19 year old is expected to he loaned out to progress his career in the coming days.

“In a short period of time, Daniel has developed into one of Australia’s brightest young stars and has demonstrated the drive and raw talent required for success at the highest level,” Brian Marwood, the managing director of global football for City Group told the club’s official website.

“This pathway was first forged by Aaron Mooy just two years ago, and we are all delighted to see another Australian-grown talent make this move.”

Manchester City will take on Arsenal in their first English Premier League game of the season.
