Man Docked For Driving Car Without Identification Number
A 28years old, Busayo Anibaba has been arraigned before an Osogbo Magistrate Court presided over by Mrs. Fatima Sodamade for driving a car without identification number. The charge sheet read that the accused person committed the offence on October 17, 2017 at Oke-fia, Osogbo at about 10am.
According to the charge sheet, the accused person drove a Mercedes 4matic Benz car without any prescribed identification number contrary to section 11(2) and punishable under section 17 of the Federal Highway Act laws of Federation of Nigeria, 2004.
It also disclosed that the accused person obstructed a police officer Sergeant Ogunniyi Emmanuel with force number F/no 361835 while performing his lawful duty and committed an offence contrary to and punishable under section 197 of the criminal code law of Osun, 2002.
The accused person pleaded not guilty to the charges leveled against him. The defence counsel, Mr. Abiodun Solaike prayed the court to grant his client bail in the most liberal terms.
Police Prosecutor, Inspector Eliza Oluwasegun did not oppose the bail application.
The magistrate admitted the accused to bail in the sum of N50,000 with one surety in the like sum.
