Man Docked Over Allege House Breaking

Osun State Police Command has arraigned a 21-year-old Khalid Abdul before an Osogbo magistrate court for alleged house breaking.

The accused was docked on three count charges bothering on house breaking and stealing.

The charge sheet read in court revealed that the accused damaged the wall of the fence by breaking and gained entrance into the dwelling house of one Alhaji Remi Marindoti and stole one Gestetner Duplicating Machine and two type writer values N560,000.

According to the charge sheet, the accused committed the offence contrary to and punishable under section 451, 390 (9) of the criminal code cap 34 Vol.11 law of Osun state Nigeria.

The charge sheet submitted that the accused committed the offence on October 7, 2018 at about 11: 30am at Ido Osun area of Osogbo.

The accused pleaded not guilty to first count and guilty to the other two counts.

Presiding Magistrate F.A Sodamade granted the suspect bail with the sum of N100,000 and one surety, adding that surety must swear to affidavit of means and present three years tax clearance certificate.

The case was adjourned to October 22, 2018 for hearing.
