Man Docked Over Alleged House-breaking

A 28-year-old man, Saheed Opeyemi has been arraigned before an Osogbo magistrate court over alleged house breaking. 

According to the charge sheet, the accused is facing three count charges bothering on stealing.

The charge sheet disclosed that the accused broke and removed window burglary and stole 32 inches plasma television valued N35,000 property of one Babalola Femi.

The charge sheet read in court revealed that the accused committed the offence contrary to and punishable under sections 411(2), 412 and 390 (9) of criminal code CAP 34 VOL II laws of Osun state 2002.

The charge sheet submitted that the accused committed the offence on October 24 at  Oke Aigbe, Agunbelewo area Osogbo.

The accused pleaded not guilty to the charges preferred against him.

The defence counsel, A O Emmanuel prayed the court to grant the suspect bail in the most liberal and affordable term.

The Presiding Magistrate, A Oloyade granted the accused bail with the sum of N50,000 with two sureties.

He added that one of the sureties should be civil servant and must swear to an affidavit of means and provide three years tax clearance certificate.

The case was then adjourned till December 6 2018.
