Man Impersonates Company Owner To Steal N6.3m

A 47-year-old man, Olaitan Bashiru has been
arraigned before a Magistrate court, sitting
in Osogbo, the capital of the State of Osun, for allegedly stealing a sum of N6, 300,000.

Olaitan was accused of fraudulently obtaining the sum on the pretence of being the owner of Powerex Nigeria Limited.

According to the charge, the offence was committed between the months of June and September 2018 in Osogbo.

The offence was contrary to and punishable under Sections 390 and 419 of the Criminal Code Cap 34 Vol II Laws of Osun State of Nigeria 2002.
