Osun state police command has remanded a 42-year old man, Gbenga Oladimeji before an Osogbo magistrate court over alleged damage of one Toyota corolla saloon car valued N2,280,000.
According to the charge sheet read in court, the accused is facing six count charges bothering on dangerous driving, failure to produce vehicle license on demand, failed to produce certificate of insurance, failure to slow down for approaching vehicle.
The charge sheet disclosed that the accused, being the driver in charge of one Honda saloon car with Registration Number AJ622GUS damage one Toyota corolla saloon car with registration Number FKJ60ES Valued N2,280,000 property of one Mr Adebayo Toyosi.
The offence committed, the charge sheet, revealed is contrary to and punishable under section 18 cap115, section 7 [1] of RTW, section 17 cap126 ofRTW,section 36[2]of RTW, section 27 of RTA cap 115 Vol.vi laws of Osun state of Nigeria 2003.
According to the charge sheet, the accused committed the offence on September 16 2018 at about 7;30 pm near NURTW motor park, Osogbo City stadium area along Osogbo-Ikirun road, Osogbo.
However, the accused pleaded not guilty to the charges preferred against him.
Presiding Magistrate, A .O Ayilara ordered that the accused be remanded in prison custody.
He later adjourned the case to November 7, 2018 for mentioned.
