Man Strangles Wife, Burns Body With Hot Iron In Ogun

A 51-year-old man, Oluranti Badejo, has been arrested by the Ogun State Police Command for allegedly beating his wife, Folasade, 40, to death in the Mowe area of the state.

This was disclosed on Thursday via the Ogun State Police Command’s Twitter handle.

According to police, the man strangled his wife during an argument and then used a hot iron to burn parts of the deceased’s body to make it appear as if she had been electrocuted.

However, their eight-year-old daughter testified that Badejo strangled her mother to death.
