Man Stripped Of Traditional Title For Supporting Planned Protests

Alhaji Mu’azu Adamu Laka Bosso, the District Head of Bosso in the Minna Emirate Council, Niger State, has stripped Abdulahi Isah, also known as Biodun, of his title as Wakilin Matasan Bosso.

As reported by Daily Trust, the removal of the traditional title holder was reportedly due to his support for the planned nationwide protests.

In a letter titled: “Letter of dismissal”, Mu’azu, who did not give the reason for the sack, said: “I hereby write to inform you that you have been dismissed from your title as Youth Leader of Bosso (Wakilin Matasan Bosso) with immediate effect from 28/07/2024. You should no longer call yourself as Youth Leader of Bosso.”

In an interview on the Hausa program Tsalle Daya on Prestige, the District Head of Bosso explained that Abdulahi Isah, also known as Biodun, was stripped of his title for supporting the upcoming nationwide protest against hardship.

The District Head emphasized that such support was the primary reason for Biodun’s dismissal.

He made it clear that any actions endorsing or promoting protests would not be tolerated within his jurisdiction.

Furthermore, the District Head stated that his domain would not permit any activities that could potentially lead to a breakdown of law and order. He stressed the importance of maintaining peace and stability in the area.
