Marriage: I Almost Lost My Sanity – Ronke Oshodi Oke
Actress Ronke Ojo, popularly known as Ronke Oshodi Oke, has revealed that she almost lost her sanity while she was married to her ex-husband.
The 49-year-old stated this on Friday in an interview with Biola Adebayo, saying in English and Yoruba that she was going to walk outside naked if not for the intervention of the late Orisabunmi.
“At a point, I almost lost my sanity, like mo fe ya werey. I got out of my ex’s bedroom naked, I was going out. May Bunmi’s soul rest in perfect peace, she’s the one that drew me back. Mo ti fe jade s’ita l’oru,” she said.
Ronke also said there’s a difference between a man who doesn’t have money and one who doesn’t care, with the latter being bad.
“There’s a difference between a man who doesn’t have money and a man who doesn’t care. If a man doesn’t care, it’s very bad,” she said.
On May 3, Ronke raised alarm on social media, alleging that her daughter was poisoned in an undisclosed university.
The movie star said that she was called and told her daughter drank a poisonous substance.
Speaking in both Yoruba and English, she said, “My daughter is in the university now. About three weeks ago, they called me around 3.45 am that my daughter Jummy drank hypo, I was like hypo? How will my daughter drink hypo?”
