What Men Really Want

By Damilola Ojenike

As a man, we have always wanted what not all ladies could give, and there are a number of them. Even though it might be difficult to give all that men want, there are some vital things that men would appreciate if they see them from ladies. Here is a list of some of them.
Appreciation

A real man sacrifices and does his best to make his woman happy. Always say, “thank you! Don’t discredit him by comparing him to your friends’ man.
Understanding

There will be sometimes he is financially down. Know that it won’t be like that forever. Motivate him till things get better.
Effort

Don’t wait on him to check up to you. Let him find that “Good morning handsome” text. Go out of your way to make him smile!
Consistency
All that you did to impress him at first should continue. Don’t get too comfortable. Let him fall in love with you over and over.
Respect

All men want and deserve respect. Treat him like the king that he is. Don’t ever belittle him or make him feel less a man. Hitting your man is a complete No.
Boundaries
Your man’s friends are not your friends. It’s disrespectful to make your man have to fight for attention with other men.
Potential Wife

Things like cleaning, cooking and catering to your man without having to be told but because you choose to do so.
Clarity
Don’t beat around the bush; if you are upset et your man know what’s up, so you can solve it. Expecting someone to guess is completely childish.
Balance

Don’t trick him into cutting his social life to spend time with you 24/7. Give him space to chill with his friends as well. Remember, he had some of them before you. Know how to
strike a balance.
Energy
Be very active during sex – don’t lay like a dead piece of wood. Show enthusiasm, get freaky and satisfy him.
Self-Reliance

There is nothing sexier than a woman who doesn’t wait for handouts. Do your best to make your own money too and stop nagging.
Belief
No need to be insecure – he has chosen you. Have faith in him at all times and remember to pray for him to be a better person.
Affection

Contrary to popular belief that guys aren’t soft, they are. Give forehead kisses, hugs when he is not happy and make him feel loved.
Loyalty
Stay faithful to your man at all times. Give him confidence that he can trust you and never talk down to him to your friend – very important.
Pampering

Give him massages. Take him out with your own money when you can. Buy him little gifts. Spoil him as much as he spoils you.
Confidentiality
Keep your relationship problems private – discuss them with your man.
Financial Intelligence

Encourage him to invest his money more than pressuring him to just spend it. Remember how hard he works for it.
Presentation
Carry yourself extremely well; your man should be proud to call you his girlfriend and confidently introduce you to people.
Good cook

“The way to a man’s heart is through his stomach”. There is nothing wrong with you cooking for your man. Do not let social media deceive you.
I hope, this few points help out few people.
