The Kwara State Chairman of Miyetti Allah Association, Alhaji Bello Abubakar, has appealed to the Federal and State governments to consider herdsmen – members of the association in the distribution of palliatives to cushion the hardship in the country.
Abubakar, made the call on Monday while speaking with newsmen in Ilorin, noting that herders were the most affected people during this period.
Explaining that the majority of herders have no bank account where they can easily access funds, Abubakar maintained that transportation fares take the larger part of their money whenever they take their livestock to the market for sale.
